Moses Aughton was born on 23 October 1920 in Southport, Lancashire to John Aughton & Jane Ellen Brookfield. He was employed as a bricklayer prior to enlisting. Moses served in the Royal Army Service Corps as a Driver in WW2, service no. T/ 10667154 and died on 04 October 1947 in Chorley Lancashire, England. He was buried 09 October 1947 in St. Stephen’s Churchyard, Banks, Southport.
