Harold Cadwell was born on 14 December 1888 in Southport, Lancashire to Frederick Cadwell and Ellen Jane Comber. He was a professional golfer and golf club maker prior to enlisting. Harold served in the Army as a Lance Corporal in WW1, service no. 33194 and died on 29 August 1918 in Chelsea, London, England. He was buried 04 September 1918 in St. Cuthbert’s Churchyard, Churchtown, Southport.
