Percy James Wadsworth was born on 20 October 1887 in Halifax, Yorkshire to James Wadsworth & Mary Thompson. He was employed as a Cinema Operator prior to enlisting. Percy married Gertrude Isabella Pickervance in 1909 and leaves 2 daughters, Gertrude and Florence. Percy served in the Royal Army Service Corps as a Private in WW1, service no. M2/84322 and died on 01 February 1919 in Southport, Lancashire, England. He was buried 05 February 1919 in St. Cuthbert’s Churchyard, Churchtown, Southport.
