William Henry Ryding was born on 06 July 1893 in Southport, Lancashire to William Ryding & Margery Sutton. He was employed as a house painter apprentice prior to enlisting. William served in the Royal Army Service Corps as a Private in WW1, service no. W/252802 and died on 03 April 1919 in Southport, Lancashire. He was buried on 07 April 1919 in St. Cuthbert’s Churchyard, Churchtown, Southport.
