William Wright was born on 10 October 1879 in Southport, Lancashire to Thomas Wright & Ann Blundell. He was employed as a Bricklayer prior to enlisting. William served in the Army as a Private in WW1, service no. K/19379 and died on 18 April 1921 in Southport, Lancashire, England. He was buried 21 April 1921 in St. Cuthbert’s Churchyard, Churchtown, Southport.
