Thomas Sutton was born on 06 January 1891 in Southport, Lancashire to Gilbert Sutton and Jane Threlfall. He was employed as a fisherman prior to enlisting. He married Jennie Johnson in 1914 and leaves 1 son Stanley. Thomas served in the Royal Naval Reserve as a Deckhand in WW1, service no. 15618/DA and died on 23 November 1918 in Barnstaple, Devon, England. He was buried on 28 November 1918 in St. Cuthbert’s Churchyard, Churchtown, Southport.
