William Bond was born on 17 April 1909 in Southport, Lancashire to William Bond & Margaret Ann Hardy. He was employed as a General Labourer prior to enlisting. He married Sarah Jackson in 1935. William served in the Army as a Gunner in WW2, service no. 11277035 and died on 30 December 1944 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He was buried 04 January 1945 in St. Stephen’s Churchyard, Banks.
